The Hare in the heart of Loddington, has been transformed into a welcoming restaurant / bar with a clean, warm and friendly atmosphere.
Michael, the proprieter, has formed a small expert team which operates under his personal supervision and provides visitors to the Hare with superb food and service. He is proud that much of the custom comes from a growing band of people who keep coming back to enjoy the home made cooking of which most of the food is locally grown. Fish dishes are a speciality, particularly their famous Dover Sole. All steaks are Aberdeen Angus.
As well as an extensive range of beers, including a selection of "guest ales" and the famous Belgian white beer "Hoegaarden", the pub is famed for a list of good wines at sensible prices. This is a non smoking restaurant but you are permitted to smoke in the bar area.
There is a small garden for the summer and ample car parking.
Opening hours are 12pm to 3pm and 7pm to 11 pm, Monday to Saturday and Sundays until 10.30pm. Food is not served on Sunday evenings or Mondays. Table reservations and can be made by calling 01536 710337.
